Nice to Meet You.

Hey there! My name is Audrey Matthews-Brown (they/them).

From a small, rainy town in the Cascade Mountains of Washington to a crowded suburb of Houston, Texas, I wound up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The move to Oklahoma started with my attendance at the University of Tulsa. After graduation, I became the Creative Director for Athletics at the University of Tulsa. I earned my MBA while working for the University of Tulsa’s athletic department. Now, I am an Outreach and Communications Manager for Madison Strategies Group in downtown Tulsa, OK.

My days are usually full of hours lost in one of the many Adobe Suite applications or building out websites like this one. When I’m not on the job, my wife and I love trying every local brewery we can find and playing with our dogs, Harley and Winston. If you’d like to learn more about me or you have a project I can help with, let's grab coffee (or a beer).

The usual questions.

  • Is it too cheesy to say "as long as I can remember"? No, seriously, I've been doodling since I was a little kid, and I eventually fell in love with the Microsoft Paint feature (yes, I said it), but I really got serious about design when I started working with Adobe Suite programs in high school. That was way back in 2014.

But enough about ancient history, let's talk about the present. Since then, I've continued to refine my skills and learn new techniques to create stunning designs for my clients. I've worked with a wide range of businesses and individuals, from small startups to large corporations, and I pride myself on creating designs that are not only visually appealing but also effective in achieving their intended goals.

So, whether you need a logo, website, or marketing materials, I've got the skills and experience to create something that will make your business stand out.

  • Lots. You can check out some work I have done in the past, as well as my pricing here.

  • Short answer – it depends. Long answer – let’s hop on a call and discuss what you’re looking for. I prefer to charge based on the project, (you can learn more here), but I understand there are situations where that doesn’t work.

  • I earned a BS in Communications in 2015 and a Master of Business Administration in 2022 from the University of Tulsa. I have been honing my skills since in things such as Google Ads, Meta, WordPress, and Squarespace – there’s always room to grow.

  • Oh, you need a last-minute design or quick-turnaround job? Sure, I can help with that! I understand that life can get wild sometimes, so you may have a tight deadline and need something designed ASAP. However, please keep in mind that rush jobs may come with an additional fee.

Why the extra cost? When I take on a rush job, it means I have to put aside other projects and work extra hours to make sure I can meet your deadline. I want to ensure that I can give your project the attention it deserves and guarantee that it meets my high standards, even with a quick turnaround.

So, if you have a last-minute design or quick-turnaround job, don't hesitate to reach out to me. Just be aware that there may be an additional fee to cover the extra time and effort that I'll need to put into your project.

Wait, what’s this “Threads by Aud” thing??

Starting in November 2023, I started creating my own University of Tulsa athletics apparel line. I struggled to find a game-day fit for tons of Tulsa events, so Threads by Aud came. Are you a Golden Hurricane fan? Check it out for yourself!
